Privacy Policy

FitX On-Demand provides on-demand fitness classes to members of gyms, apartment communities, and other facilities that license the service. This policy explains what the FitX apps collect and how that information is used.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, and a display name if your facility provides one. Accounts are created by your facility's manager — the apps have no public sign-up.
• Activity information. Which classes you play, playback position, and whether a class was completed, so the app can show your progress and resume where you left off.
• Device pairing information. When you connect a TV, we store an identifier for that TV and its current playback status so your phone can act as a remote.

What we do not collect

• No payment or financial information — billing is handled by your facility, not the app.
• No contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location data.
• No advertising identifiers. FitX contains no ads and no third-party ad tracking.

How information is used

Only to operate the service: signing you in, showing your facility's class library, streaming video securely, letting your phone control a paired TV, and showing your own workout activity. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

FitX runs on Google Firebase (authentication, database, and cloud functions) and Cloudflare Stream (video delivery). These providers process data on our behalf so the service can function.

Video security

Class videos are never public. Each playback uses a signed link that expires after one hour and is issued only to a signed-in member of a licensed facility.

Data retention and deletion

Your account exists while your facility keeps it active. When a facility manager removes your account — or when a facility's license ends — the account is disabled and its data is deleted. To request deletion directly, email the address below.

Children

FitX is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
